About

Rebecca Jackman

Rebecca Jackman is the originating author of Founding, defined as the point at which an enterprise ceases to be a draft and begins to have a history.

Founding can be recognised in the daily operation of a business. It occurs when the founder no longer needs to restate past decisions, renegotiate agreed terms, or reconstruct earlier boundaries for the business to function.

Decisions remain in place over time, agreements are treated as settled rather than reopened, and the enterprise continues without requiring the founder to personally carry every prior determination.

She is a senior institutional leader and former Chief Executive and current trustee with 15 years of experience across 12 countries. She has overseen complex, multi-year portfolios in high-accountability environments involving Boards, governments, and international partners.

She is writing her second book, Founded, targeting publication in 2027.
